Season Launch 18th July and Trial Matches Booked for Nambour Rugby

The season launch is set for July 18, after the next easing of restrictions coming up the rugby can commence. Nambour Rugby Club is excited about the upcoming Sunshine Coast Rugby Union, Sunshine Coast Junior Rugby Union and Sunshine Coast Girls Rugby Union competitions. It is shaping up to be an exciting time at the club with upwards of 60-80 players pulling on the mighty Red and White in 2020.

On July 18 we are excited to be hosting the Maroochydore Swans to showcase a number of the new teams that Nambour Rugby Union Club has to offer culminating in a senior trial match against Maroochydore Swans.

On the day we will be showcasing the following teams

• Under 10's Nambour Junior Rugby Union Team
• Under 17's Nambour Girls Rugby Union 7's Team
• Senior Mens Teams

Training is currently underway for all of our teams and we encourage anyone if they are keen to get down and support that they follow our COVID Safe guidelines.

Our Senior Mens teams will be travelling to brisbane on July 11 to take on the Brisbane Irish in what is an exciting time for the club to have 2 trials booked in at Senior Level. Due to the shortened season the club is keen to get back out on the park and showcase Nambour Rugby as much as possible and give our sponsors something to cheer after a disrupted 2020.
